Privacy Policy
What personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: October 2026
This website is operated by Arunaagiri, the training and coaching practice of Dr Arunaagiri Mudaaliar, based in Mumbai, India (“Arunaagiri”, “we”, “us”). We respect your privacy and process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and other applicable Indian law.
1. Data we collect
We only collect personal data that you choose to give us, mainly through the forms on this website:
- Enquiry and booking forms — your name, email address, phone number, company, the type of enquiry and any message or details you include (for example the program, course, plan or number of learners you are interested in).
- Newsletter and Golden Hour sign-ups — your email address and, where requested, your name and phone number.
- Technical data — limited information sent automatically by your browser, such as IP address, browser type and the page you submitted a form from. We use this to protect our forms from spam and abuse.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. Please do not submit a form on behalf of a child.
2. Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, prepare proposals and quotations, and deliver programs, courses or books you request.
- To send the newsletter or session reminders you have subscribed to.
- To keep this website secure, prevent spam and comply with our legal obligations.
We process this data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form, or for the legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act. We do not sell your personal data or use it for unrelated purposes.
3. Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us run our business — for example website hosting, email delivery, online learning platforms and payment processors — and only as needed for them to provide that service. They are required to keep your data secure. We may also disclose data where required by law or a lawful request from authorities.
4. How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable period afterwards (typically up to 24 months) in case you get back in touch, unless a longer period is required by law (for example tax or accounting records). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Data is then deleted or anonymised.
5. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
- ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your personal data;
- withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing already carried out);
- nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity; and
- raise a grievance with us, and, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. For any other request, write to arunaagiri@arunagiri.co.in. We aim to respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies
This website uses only cookies and similar storage that are strictly necessary for it to work and stay secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — such as encrypted connections and restricted access — to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the authorities of a personal data breach where required by law.
8. Grievance officer
For questions, requests or complaints about your personal data, contact our grievance officer at arunaagiri@arunagiri.co.in, or by post at Plot no. 5, Pathare Wadi, Off Marve Road, Malad (West), Mumbai 400095.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
